Erythrocyte Sedimentation rate (ESR) merupakan test klinis laboratorium untuk menghitung laju dari sel darah merah dalam whole blood dalam tabung yang di standarisasi. Pengoperasian dilakukan secara mudah dan simple serta waktu yang dibutuhkan tidak lama (30 menit). Tidak ada perbedaan yang signifikan dengan metode manual westegren dan korelasi sangat kuat.
